How to Read a Peptide COA<\/strong><\/p>

A certificate of analysis is most useful when the report can be matched to a product, batch, method, and independent verification record.<\/p>

Start with the batch trail<\/h2>

Review the product name, batch identifier, tested size, report date, and laboratory task or certificate number. A useful COA should make it possible to connect a product page, vial label, QR link, and laboratory record without relying on a generic purity claim.<\/p><\/section>

Check the analytical method<\/h2>

Peptide identity and purity are usually documented with complementary analytical methods. HPLC is commonly used to separate and quantify the main peak and impurities. Mass spectrometry is used to confirm molecular identity. Solution products or multi-component blends may use concentration, potency, or component-specific reporting instead of a simple purity percentage.<\/p><\/section>
