Compare Before You Buy: A Peptide Vendor Checklist

Most comparisons start with price and a purity percentage. Both matter, but neither tells you what is actually in the vial you receive. Run these six checks on any vendor, including us, before you order.

1. Is there a report for the exact size and batch?

A report for a different size, or for an older batch, says nothing about the vial you are buying. Look for the batch number on the report and match it to the product. At Panda, every size we sell shows a laboratory report for that exact size, with the batch number on it, and new batch reports go up as they come back from the lab.

2. Can you verify it with the lab yourself?

A screenshot can be edited. A record on the laboratory’s own website cannot. Every report we publish links to the lab’s verification page at ILS Laboratories or Janoshik Analytical, so you can confirm the report number, sample, batch and results directly with the lab.

3. Does it measure content, not just purity?

Purity tells you what share of the material is the target peptide. Net content tells you how many milligrams are actually there. You need both to know what you are paying for. Our reports state measured content alongside HPLC purity.

4. Was identity confirmed?

A high purity number for the wrong molecule is still the wrong molecule. Look for an identity result on the report, not just a single purity peak.

5. What was ruled out?

Purity and identity tell you what is in the vial. Contaminant panels tell you what is not. Our ILS full-panel reports add endotoxin, a PCR microbial screen, ICP-MS elemental impurities and a fentanyl screen. These rule out uncontrolled variables in in vitro research. Results apply to the sample tested.

6. Compare the cost per tested milligram

Two vials with the same label can hold different amounts. Divide the price by the measured content on the report to compare like for like, then add shipping.
