About Laboratory Supplies & Support Compounds

This category contains non-peptide laboratory essentials: sterile diluents, vitamin-class reference compounds, and reagent-grade solutions used alongside peptide research. Products include bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol, USP-grade), sterile acetic acid solutions for reconstitution of acid-soluble peptides, and injectable-format reference compounds.

Lab supplies follow the same quality documentation standards as our peptide catalog. Compounds with applicable purity metrics include Janoshik Analytical COAs. Sterile solutions specify preservative concentration, volume, and container format.

Which diluent is appropriate for different compound types?

Bacteriostatic water (BAC water) is the standard reconstitution medium for most lyophilized peptides. Acetic acid 0.6% is specifically required for IGF-1 LR3 and other acid-soluble compounds that do not dissolve reliably in neutral pH solutions. Each peptide product page notes its recommended reconstitution medium.

What specifications apply to sterile solutions?

Bacteriostatic water is manufactured to USP specifications with 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative in 30mL multi-draw vials. Acetic acid solution is sterile-filtered at 0.6% concentration (CAS 64-19-7). Both products are packaged for laboratory research use.
